ps2pdf

Hi all,

I'm a "beginer" in the use of ghostscript. I want to use the 
ps2pdf converter but I'm not able to doing so.
What I'm doin is to open the GS command window and, in the GS> 
prompt, to write:

GS>ps2pdf filename.ps

Immediatelly appears a large message error.  I'm sure I'm doing 
something wrong, but I don't know exactly what.
Can anyone help me please?
