Well, I have no warning or error message. Neither from ld not from the
dynamic linker. I would expect that ld-linux.2 should be able to run
an ELF executable -very similar to gcc produced ones- for which
/usr/bin/ld does not give any error or warning. The ldscript I use
contains all the sections from /usr/lib/ldscripts/elf_i386.x
I feel that my binary is unorthodox but not broken. I am not sure of
it. (but I do not know well all specific requirements of Linux ELF. In
particular the role and place of the .note.run-ABI section).
Is the number (or indexes) of PT_LOAD-ed segments hardwired in the
ld-linux.so.2 code? I do not think it is....
Thanks for the help.
Regards.
