I think it is not needed, because there is, I believe, no user visible change.

Supporting compact format is desireble, but it may be difficult to do.
It is worthy enough only in standard format.

By the way, I began to feel the doubt in the current implementation
using plug-in parser again. If only giving up plug-in parser, we can
make simpler, more efficient gtags without any external commands.
I will make another proposal later, it is a story in the future though.
