Problem Reports not being sent to second database

Greetings,

I've been struggling for some time in getting a second database to work in Gnats,  and now deadlines are biting me.  We are using Gnats-3.113 and gnatsweb-2.8.0. (I'll install gnatsweb-2.8.2 soon,  Yngve!)  I've created an empty second database,  Version2x, and configured all the files in its gnats-adm dir and have followed all the other steps listed in messages in the bug-gnats list along the multi-database thread.

I can log in to the second database using the gnatsweb front-end.  When I create a new Problem Report,  an email is generated with the bug with all the fields populated,  except no PR gets created in the Category in the new database,  and no PR Number is assigned.  Querying the database shows no entries.  Looking at the Categories files directly in the database shows nothing added.

I can't seem to correctly enter a new pr using the pr shell utility for the second database, either,  but that may be because I don't have the correct syntax.

What is the correct syntax to use to create new pr's in a second database with the pr shell utility?

Then if at least one pr is created in the database,  will the gnatsweb then be able to create new Problem Reports from there?

Looking at the alias file,  it seems there needs to be a way for the query-pr command to know which database to use.  Here's my alias file which may be a source of the problem if it is not correct.

I have gnats installed in /opt/gnats/share/gnats  with one database in /gnats-db and the second database in /gnats2-db.

What else could I be missing?
