Gnats 4 field limits listing in the index

Hi Gnats Gurus,

 

I have multiple release state responsible closed-date fields (40 in all)

 

However when I add my fields to the index{fields} section of dbconfig it appears I have placed too many fields in the index.

I say this because of a result of having large amounts of fields in the index.

 

 upon submission of an edit using gnatsweb I get this error:

I believe the problem is somewhere with gnatsd.  edit-pr works well from the command line. 

 

Is there a limit to adding new fields especially in the index for fast queries?
