Lacks which side to move? Try....

7k/P7/8/8/8/8/8/K7 w - - 0 1

I'd suggest using SCID as it has an excellent board editor, and I assume
it runs on MacOS, and can run with GNU Chess or other winboard engine
and show analysis etc.

The CVS version of GNU Chess includes EPD files for testing of chess
engines, which might be of use. There are plenty of other EPD test files
around.

We don't distribute these in the official release because their
copyright position is uncertain, although we believe they are freely
available for the use we put them to.
