In GNU Emacs 20.7.2 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
of Fri Apr 13 2001 on PC486
configured using `configure i386-debian-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr
--sharedstatedir=/var/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib
--infodir=/usr/share/info --with-pop=yes --with-x=yes --with-x-toolkit=yes'
If I run C-x - (shrink-window-if-larger-than-buffer) in an empty
buffer, it signals a `beginning-of-buffer' error. I'd like it to
instead shrink the window to `window-min-height' lines, like it
does if the buffer contains a space. The error is particularly
annoying when trying to shrink the window of an asynchronous
shell command that hasn't output anything yet.
