Should there be added a function to stop the effects of
make-variable-buffer-local for future new buffers? I'm not talking
about default-value or set-default, I think. I'm saying "oops, I did
make-variable-buffer-local for some variable, now I regret it and wish
to type make-variable-buffer-UNlocal" and then say even kill the
current buffer, thinking that way it would be as if I never did
make-variable-buffer-local...

Currently one must kill emacs and start afresh to erase its effects it seems.
