What's wrong is that your example isn't anything like the bug that
people are discussing.

Fine.  And, in the process, the author introduced a bug, which is that
if you never set the page size, the code scrolls by the initial window
size, rather than by the current window size.

It seems perfectly reasonable for it to then retain the page size that
you explicitly set.  As it does.  The bug isn't in that case.  The bug
is in the case where the page size is never explicitly set.
