I do M-x compile and I am presented with the default command make -k.
I instead do ./configure. I do M-x compile again and look around for
that make -k which I thought might be hiding up in M-p, but no, it was
not on the history list or whatever, so I had to type it in by hand.
I say that it should be at the top of the history list or whatever,
even though one didn't use it. By the way, the -k is kind of ugly.
-k Continue as much as possible after an error.
I mean isn't that the sort of behaviour that we hope children don't
choose as a default lifestyle?
