Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Not liking the fat scroll bar I set the default-frame-alist property
scroll-bar-width to 10 in my .emacs.
(setq default-frame-alist '((scroll-bar-width . 10)))
This causes a gap to appear in the fancy new tool bar with
icons. Every now and again the tool bar is repainted and the gap
disappears but as soon as a buffer in a window is modified it
re-appears.
The gap has the width of the unused space between the scroll-bar
and the little vertical band in which the line-wrap symbol appears.
When reducing the width of the scroll-bar this width seems too large.
This occurs both on Solaris and Linux with the Athena widgets.
Emacs was built using --without-toolkit-scroll-bars
Its only an irritating cosmetic bug. (tool-bar-mode nil) works for me.
Cheers,
Dave
