If you launch info (C-h i)
then info signals an error repeatedly when one is on:
A) the top of the info tree
Just typing C-h i puts me at the top of the tree, but I get no such
error. It must depend on something else. Would you please send a
self-contained *fully specified* test case? With that, I could try to
debug this.

guidelines on how to write a bug report to give us the
necessary information so we can fix the bug.
