    How would hacking into mail help with developing Emacs?

I meant to write "male", not "mail"; please pardon the error.  But if
you assume that "mail hacking" must be hacking "into" something, I
think you have misunderstood the meaning of "hacking".  Hacking does
not mean breaking security--that is cracking.  The work of developing
Emacs is hacking.

"Mail hackers" could mean various things.  It could mean people who
hack on mailers--though that is mostly unrelated to Emacs--or we could
take it to mean people to deal with all the Emacs bug reports we are
getting in the mail.  We certainly need more of that kind of mail
hackers, though they can be either male or female.
