I partly agree.  But I also disagree: I'm afraid that splitting the
quoted text into several parts with different color would tend to
make the user keep more quoted text (because it looks fine).

Current messages already contain much too much quoted text in general.

That doesn't mean I would oppose such a new neat feature, but I'm not
sure it's worth the trouble.
