CC Mode 5.28 (C++); incorrect indentation

Put the stuff in between the == in a buffer, and switch to c++ mode
with M-x c++-mode RET.

====================
typedef enum {
  YES,
  NO

} golly;
====================

Now put point before the left curly-brace, and type M-C-q. You'll see
no change, which means that c++-mode has indented the stuff properly.
But now delete the space before point, and hit M-C-q again; you'll see

====================
typedef enum{
  YES,
    NO

    } golly;
====================

That looks incorrect to me. And in any case, it seems that the
indentation should stay the same regardless of the presence of that
space before the curly-brace.

(Note -- this repros just fine when I invoke emacs with `-q --no-site-file')
