If I do a M-x term<ret> to get a bash shell and then cd to my homedir
and issue the command 'cat q.pl' emacs (apparently) goes into an
infinite loop.
Could you look at etc/DEBUG and follow the suggestions given there
in order to find where the loop is and where it starts and ends?
