I tried to bind hi-lock-unface-buffer to C-S-F11 with the following
statement:
(global-set-key [(control shift f11)] 'hi-lock-unface-buffer)
Now pressing C-S-F11 results in a popup-menu titled "Select pattern to
unhighlight". This seems to happen regardless of which function key
and modifiers are used. However, binding hi-lock-unface-buffer to
something like C-c u works correctly.
I even tried with emacs -q --no-site-file but that did not help either.
In GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i386-msvc-nt5.0.2195)
of 2002-03-19 on buffy
configured using `configure --with-msvc (12.00)'
