Let's say your kill ring has big and little chunks of text in it.
Now start adding text to the current buffer until the cursor is in the
middle of the screen.
Now type C-y M-y M-y M-y M-y ...
Notice that if one of those is a big chunk, and the next is a small
chunk, the screen isn't restored, but instead we now end up with the
cursor at the top of the screen.
No, I'm not saying that it has absconded with some text, I'm saying
that it doesn't leave the cursor position as it found it.
