When using C-x d, dired under ffap, and using a wildcard, instead of
asking us "directory doesn't exist, create it y or n?" why dont you
also give a choice w: use it as a wildcard. Better yet would to know
that if I use *, ? [], etc in a filename i intend it to be a
wildcard...
of course we can always do C-u C-x d to get the usual dired way, but
that requires forethought.
(I did, with ffap bindings on,
C-x d emacs*
expecting to see like ls -la emacs* )
