This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I'm using the frame parameter:

(font . "-*-Courier New-*-r-*-*-12-120-75-75-M-70-*-*")

and get display artifacts when scrolling. Specifically, I have a
*compilation* window:

(setq special-display-buffer-names
      '(
        ("*compilation*" (top . 0) (left . 28) (width . 110) (height . 35))
        ...

which is often partially obscured by other (native windows) programs.
When the *compilation* buffer scrolls parts of the overlapping window
(say Internet Explorer) are "bit blitted" along with the scrolled
text. This is hard to describe (obviously), so I'm including a screen
shot. I apologize in advance if this is poor etiquette.

The *compilation* frame is in the upper left-hand corner and is the
result of scrolling with the IE window on top. This problem does not
occur (I believe) if a more normal 6x13 font is used.
