bug#293: 23.0.60; Combining diacritical marks are non-combining

From: Torsten Bronger
Subject: bug#293: 23.0.60; Combining diacritical marks are non-combining
Date: Thu, 22 May 2008 13:36:41 +0200
User-agent: Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/23.0.60 (gnu/linux)

When using Unicode's combining diacritical marks, the accents are
printed to the right of the character instead of on top of it, for example
ẍ̇ or ẍ. This used to work in Emacs properly (al least for some
character/accent combinations, and in particular for the examples).

In GNU Emacs 23.0.60.3 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu)
 of 2008-05-22 on wilson
Windowing system distributor `The X.Org Foundation', version 11.0.10400090
configured using `configure '--prefix=/usr/local/'
--mandir=/usr/local/share/man/' '--infodir=/usr/local/share/info/'
--with-x-toolkit=no' '--with-xpm' '--with-jpeg' '--with-tiff' '--with-gif'
--with-png' '--with-x''
