In the file lib-src/makefile.w32-in, at line 492? there is a trailing backslash at the end of the instruction:

488 $(BLD)/sorted-doc.$(O) : \
489     $(SRC)/sorted-doc.c \
490     $(EMACS_ROOT)/src/s/ms-w32.h \
491     $(EMACS_ROOT)/src/m/intel386.h \
492     $(EMACS_ROOT)/src/config.h \

494 $(BLD)/tcp.$(O) : \


It generates for me an error at compilation !
