If you use `C-x r l' and one of your bookmarks is to a remote file or
directory, you are prompted for the password while
`bookmark-bmenu-list' is trying to list the bookmarks. It stops at
that bookmark before listing any others, and asks for the password. It
does this for each remote bookmark where a password is required.

This is very wrong.

Worse: If you give the wrong password, it simply stops working -
finished. You will never see the other bookmarks that follow that one.

All such bookmarks should simply be listed - presume that the password
will be given when needed. When you ask to jump to the bookmark,
that's the time to ask for the password (the first time only,
obviously).
