But the simple fact of defining w32-* functions and variables can
modify behavior. Searching for "f?boundp 'w32-" gets hits on
non-w32-specific files: comint, facemenu, isearch, ls-lisp,
international/mule-cmds, mail/mailclient and net/tramp-compat.
