bug#7297: 24.0.50; Split byte-recompile-directory into byte-recompile-fi

From: Julien Danjou
Subject: bug#7297: 24.0.50; Split byte-recompile-directory into byte-recompile-file
Date: Thu, 28 Oct 2010 12:23:44 +0200
User-agent: Gnus/5.110011 (No Gnus v0.11) Emacs/24.0.50 (gnu/linux)

The following set of patches has already been sent to emacs-devel, but
since nobody has time to review them I opening a bug report to keep
track of their inclusion.

The purpose is to have a `byte-recompile-file' function, and patch 2 to
4 makes use of it in several places.
