bug#9571: 24.0.50; user option to turn off bidi, please

    As I said (following Stefan), find-file-literally has that effect.

It has a lot of other effects too, which are painful except when you
happen to want them.  That is no substitute for what I'm suggesting.

Why are you opposed to a flag to turn bidi display off?
