"In" is correct: the sentence refers means that Emacs
inserts (the text in the clipboard)
But it's true that this can be misconstrued as meaning
(inserts the text) (in the clipboard)
But "from" is not quite the right replacement, so I changed it to
"inserts the clipboard's text". Thanks.
