That's expected. Popping another buffer requires a thorough
redisplay.

In that case, please tell what customizations do you have that are
related to scrolling, and perhaps also post the Org file you were
browsing, or part thereof.
Also, you should probably update to the latest trunk or branch,
whatever you were tracking, to make sure the problem still exists in
the latest codebase.

If I'd see there only C-v/M-v, that's not a big loss.
