Hello!
In this version
In GNU Emacs 24.3.50.1 (i386-apple-darwin10.8.0, NS
apple-appkit-1038.36)
of 2012-11-07 on Sumac.local
Bzr revision: 110820 eggert@cs.ucla.edu-20121106204835-uoo6ermni0jtqqmp
Windowing system distributor `Apple', version 10.3.1038
only the Thai texts in the HELLO buffer were not displayed, just empty boxes.
The Vietnamese and Burmese texts contain empty boxes, but the latter is also
displayed in the X client. (And this one also has empty boxes instead of
Cantonese texts.) Later versions of the NS variant only show Arabic and Hebrew
texts plus Vietnamese with boxes instead of multiple accented characters.
(Other Mac OS X applications can display these texts OK.)
