1. C-x C-f somefile.pl
2. M-x cperl-mode
3. Menu->
Standard keybindings (`prog-mode' bindings are not that interesting).
Aggregate those in to a Generic section or move those to the bottom
or remove those.
Specifically the
- First section, that has C-M-a etc
- Third section, that has C-M-\ etc
4. Menu->Toggle
Convert the options to checkboxes. (Whatever is the Emacs standard
way of doing it.)
5. Provide a "Save Options" button so that I turn on whatever toggles
that interest me and have it saved to .emacs
