bug#22683: 25.1.50; auto-composition-mode

From: Richard Stallman
Subject: bug#22683: 25.1.50; auto-composition-mode
Date: Tue, 16 Feb 2016 17:47:07 -0500

[[[ To any NSA and FBI agents reading my email: please consider ]]]
[[[ whether defending the US Constitution against all enemies, ]]]
[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

The words

  >   If called from Lisp,
  > > enable the mode if ARG is omitted or nil.

seem to mean, "If the arg is omitted or nil, enable the mode;
otherwise disable it." I was surprised by the actual behavior.

Does that text come from a macro?
