Hi,

So I did find some time to run a few more trials today. I found all the files this time. Here are the temp file sizes:

A
    0    57,278,464 bytes
    1    55,245,981 bytes

B
    0    112,525,445 bytes
    1    112,525,312 bytes

They seem to alternate between states A and B (deleting old buffer space?), and I haven't seen the files listed at any other size.

File 1 disappears after LIST finishes running, and file 0 settles on size A0. The folder is deleted when pspp exits, as expected.

There is another bit of syntax at the end of the file I didn't see before:

src/libpspp/temp-file.c:132 Closing and removing tempfile C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp/psppORdnSM/1 000007FEFF612BA0

which, I think, is expected according to the deletion of file 1. Why file 0 isn't deleted then I don't know.

I also checked the <> and it's definitely there on every trial.
