Problems with cvs

Hi,

  I am having trouble with cvs. I changed my /etc/services file and my
/etc/inetd.conf as directed, but
it does not work.

After supressing my userid and ipaddress, I get:

% cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/usr/local/cvsroot login
(Logging in to address@hidden)
CVS password: 
cvs [login aborted]: received broken pipe signal
%


  Any hints?
