gnu tar bug

Hello,

Gnu-tar doesn't work with empty files. If there is an empty file in your
directory, Gnu-tar just skips it, instead of including it in the
compressed file (I'm using "tar -c <directory-name> > <filename>.tar")

Could you tell me if this will be fixed? I need a tar that works
correctly with empty files urgently.
