SunOS 5.7 Generic_106541-12 sun4u sparc
gcc 2.95.3
binutils 2.11 and 2.11.2; configured w/o any options
$ ./strip -V
GNU strip 2.11.2

the GNU General Public License. This program has absolutely no warranty.
$ ./strip ./addr2line
BFD: ./stJSaGrl: warning: allocated section `.interp' not in segment
$ ./addr2line
addr2line: Cannot find ELF
Killed
$
It is possible that other parts of the binutils suite are also broken.
Let me know how I can help to track this down in more detail.
