"as -h " produces help correctly "ld -h" produces an error message; "ld -help" produces the help "as -Qy" produces error message "ld -Qy" nicely ignores the option Wouldn't it be nice to have two neighboring tools work similarly? Laszlo Borbely Micron Technology
