Hello.

I received this from the Debian bug system today.

Note: export LC_TIME=C; diff -u n1 n2 does not give the old behaviour
as the manual seems to suggest.

Subject: Bug#155150: diff: diff -u displays unnecessary zeros after the seconds

Package: diff
Version: 2.8.1-1
Severity: wishlist

diff -u now displays unnecessary zeros after the seconds, e.g.

$ diff -u n1 n2
--- n1  2002-08-01 03:35:01.000000000 +0200
+++ n2  2002-08-01 03:35:09.000000000 +0200
[...]

There should be a way to disable that.
