plotutils-2.4 under djgpp (Windows 98)

I have downloaded plotutils-2.4 and have executed configure,

make, and make install, using c:/djgpp as my target.

All appears to have gone correctly.

However the command

 

    graph -T < interp.dat > interp.ps

 

produces a ps file that fails with my Ghostscript (GSVIEW32.exe version 4.00 2001-06-02)

There are some unrecognized statements but the serious error is

 

    'Unrecoverable error : rangecheck in setpagedevice

    operand stack

    --nostringval- '

 

Have I omitted something in the command line?
