Cannot build gawk 3.1.1 on Solaris 7

From: Daniel . Jaime
Subject: Cannot build gawk 3.1.1 on Solaris 7
Date: Wed, 9 Oct 2002 12:08:18 +0200

Hi,

since a couple of month I haven't been able to build or even to configure
some GNU tools on a Solaris 7 Workstation, among them gawk 3.1.1. For
better documentation I appended the logs of configuration and building to
this mail.

With gawk 3.1.0 I hadn't any problem at all

I will investigate the problem, which I don't expect to be in my
environment, and let you know if I could solve it. However, since I don't
have to much spare time, this may last long. On the other side, if you find
a solution, please give me a notice.

If you need any further information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Daniel Jaime
