Hi,

gettextize is assumed to be invoked in a complete working source
tree. If you have a source tree with SUBDIRS=...m4... but you don't
have an m4 directory, then gettextize is the wrong tool. Maybe
'autopoint' (added in gettext 0.11.5 - please see the documentation)
fits your needs better.
