Hi!

I have a problem with the 0.11.5 version of msgmerge, that was not a
problem in 0.10.39. The problem is that the new msgmerge discards the
translations of the ref.po file, instead of adding them and marking them
as fuzzy.

I use this to merge my danish translations with eg newer Swedish,
Norwegian or even German translations, that I have done some
preprocessing on. I get quite some productivity out of this scheme.

I need something that can merge the old translations with some new
translations, that needs to be checked, and thus marked eg as fuzzy.

I tried to use the compendium option of msgmerge, but it does not mark
the new strings as fuzzy. I then tried to change the msgid's of the new
file, but it seems like it does not make fuzzy matches.

I also tried msgcat, but that generates output which is very cumbersome
to edit.

So maybe there is some ways to do this that I have overlooked to do
this? If not, I would like you to add an option to msgmerge that takes
the translations in the ref.po file and mark them as fuzzy, or maybe
make it the default behaviour as it was in the 0.10 versions.

I also think it would be useful to be able to mark compendia strings as
fuzzy, as there may be equal spellings meaning different things in
different programs. Also fuzzy matches from the compendia would be nice,
but I would like this to be optional, as it may be time-consuming.

Kind regards
Keld
