The bug you describe was found and fixed a while ago.  If you update
your sources to 2.13.2 you should find that the problem goes away.

You may also want to checkout the current CVS sources as they contain
a further bug fix in this area, when the linker is creating a
Thumb-to-Arm stub and the Thumb caller and Arm callee are in different
sections.
