OK, I just just realized how stupid my example was (with x \in
"text"). Actually, this was an attempt to strip down a behavior it
took me a while to understand: -I is "effective" for changes only when
suppressed and added lines match one of the regexps, which is not the
case here.
Plus, this is explained in the documentation (but I had not understood
it properly).
Sorry for the noise, can't cancel it...
