Hi, I'm installing binutils 2.12.90.0.15 on an mainframe IBM s/390 as a
requisite to upgrade gcc. I have glibc 2.2.5, gcc 2.95.2 and kernel 2.2.16.
I've got the source of binutils from kernel.org.

I created an object directory and made 'configure' on it. Then I executed 'make'
command and I received the following message:

make[3]: Entering directory `/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15-obj/bfd/po'
file=/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15/bfd/po/`echo fr | sed 's,.*/,,'`.gmo \
  && rm -f $file && PATH=../src:$PATH no -o $file
/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15/bfd/po/fr.po
/bin/sh: no: command not found
make[3]: *** [fr.gmo] Error 127
make[3]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15-obj/bfd/po'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15-obj/bfd'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/dasdc/binutils-2.12.90.0.15-obj/bfd'
make: *** [all-bfd] Error 2

I saw that 'no' is a unix command to configure network attributes but it does'nt
 exist in my linux.
Could You help me, please?
Thanks in advance,

Claudio.
