Hello,
The diffutils documentation node "Binary" (title "Binary Files and
Forcing Text Comparisons") contains a minor conflict in its
descriptions of the -q (--brief) option.
In the fifth paragraph of that node, which begins "Differing binary
files..." it says:
"However, this trouble cannot occur with the --a or --text
option, or with the -q or --brief option, as these options both
cause diff to treat binary files like text files."
But the preceding paragraph said that -q causes all files to be
treated as *binary* files, not text files.
I know it's a minor detail, but thanks for your attention to it.
Keep up the good work.
Scott
