Hello bug-gnu-utils,

I'm install gnu patch 2.5.4 (ftp.gnu.org). It seems to be last
  version...
When I try to patch WIN-style files (\x0D\x0A) patch fails with
  message:
    .. HUNK FAILED ...
If I manually replace line endings to UNIX-style, it patch
successfully. I ran patch with args:
-l (it helps me in earlier version of patch!!)
    -p2

I even try to find this code in sources, but unsuccessfully .. :(
I'm not a cool C-programmer.. Only one thing I've found, was
variable "p_strip_trailing_cr", but it doesn't help me.

  OS: FreeBSD 4.x, 5.x.
