diffutils and XPCOM?

Dear Sirs,

I'm building the Verbosio XML editor (http://verbosio.mozdev.org), based on
Mozilla's XULRunner platform.  For several months, I've been thinking how
wonderful it would be to have the diffutils available as a native set of
components through XPCOM.

I'm wondering if anyone here would be willing to work on such a project over
the next several months.  At present this is not a high priority for me; I
simply want to start a discussion on the possibility and see who's
interested.
