Hello,I do not know if this is a designed limitation of the program grep or not, but let's say a file called "test" had the string "stuff" in it.
If one did "cat test | grep -i --color=auto "stuFF"" then the results of a different case are not highlighted.
I thought I would mention this. I did the procedure from Mac OS X 10.4.9, under Darwin Kernel Version 8.9.0 with a PPC processor.
