The value of FS is a regexp, not a glob. "\033\[*H" cannot match
"\033[xx;xxH".
Also, awk only recomputes $0 when a field is assigned to.
$ awk 'BEGIN { FS = "\033\\[[^\033]*H"; OFS = "," } { $1 = $1; print }'
