Fortunately the check wasn't too hard to implement (as shown in the link
below).

If you still have the old version of GSL on your system, could you
kindly try building this version of Gnuastro:
http://akhlaghi.org/gnuastro-latest.tar.lz
A warning should be printed at the end of configure time, the build
shouldn't fail, and all the tests should pass. If not, please let me know.
